Vision and Mission

Applied Surface Engineering (ASE) is an innovative technology company that applies recent breakthroughs in surface engineering methodologies and rapid prototyping through advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence (AI).  Our key product is the reduction of aerodynamic frictional drag and increased lift for subsonic to hypersonic systems.

 

ASE specializes in aerospace, energy, and transportation applications, from subsonic to hypersonic.  The fluid dynamics and aerodynamic advances are directly applicable to aeronautic motors, high-performance combustion, rockets, airfoils, drone blades, transport vehicles (air, sea, and land), and energy systems, to name a few.  This is achieved through a seamless blending and leveraging of critical and emerging leading-edge technologies involving advanced turbulence theory, bio-mimicry, AI, and advanced manufacturing.

 

Some anticipated end results of our technology include the following:

  • Decreased fuel consumption due to reduced frictional drag (airplanes, vehicles, transportation)
